Homeschool Tips

Being able to homeschool your children is a blessing. I know it can feel daunting at the beginning, and there's difficult parts throughout, but know there's a community for you and of course God will equip you.

God put it in my heart to homeschool right after they were born. I gave birth a couple days before the "two week" lockdown during the pandemic. I remember going for a walk with my husband and me pushing the double stroller discussing with him my desire to homeschool. Thankfully he was on board.

Unfortunately, he passed away 11.5 months after they were born, but through the grace of God and proper financial planning, I am still able to homeschool. 

I wasn't sure I had what it took to homeschool my girls so I reached out to friends I knew who were homeschooling and they gave me some advice including books to read. One of the books that was recommended to me I included in this free PDF. It gave me so much courage and confidence to homeschool my girls!

I started a Facebook group for Christian Homeschooling Moms in Southern California and my vision is to help equip moms to homeschool through support, but also by helping them launch or scale their businesses so they have the income and freedom to be able to homeschool.
